Pray the DIVINE COUPLE of bless you and your family.

At Srimaan Trust, as Servants in the execution of the Divine Couples’ wishes, we celebrate Deepavali lighting up the faces of the children by preparing savories and distributing it to them. It would be a pleasure to watch the mere scene of children tearing open the pack of sweets and thrusting them into their mouths. If this happens due to our humble contribution, the pleasure will double just as a mother watching her children eat her hand made delicacies. And our Divine Parents would be very happy with the way we have celebrated the most celebrated festival of our Nation. Hence, we put before you to make your contributions to this Divine and of course, very sweet cause.

Srimate ramanujaya nama:

Priya arangan adiyar,

The word upanayanam means to bring near. A child, who reaches the age where his mind settles for streamlined learning, is introduced to Supreme Knowledge. He is sent on a mission to know reality, to know oneself and to know the Resident Being within the self. This mission is grandly inaugurated with the sacred thread ceremony. Just as a bird has two births, one from the mother as an egg and then breaking out of the egg, a thrai varnikas have two births, one from the womb of the mother and another from the womb of illusion (Maya of the Supreme).

But a family needs to expend substantial monetary resource for conducting the upanayana ceremony. Unfortunately, some parents find it very difficult to do so due to financial constraints. It is the duty of the society to take up the cause of these children and perform their sacred thread ceremony.

One such effort of the Trust has culminated in the organization of upanayana ceremony of two young bubbling children of Srimaan Bhattar Gurukulam viz. Chi. G. Varadharajan & Chi. M. VenkataKrishnan. The function is to be held at Kanaiyaazhi Aanjaneyar Temple, Vasantha Nagar, Srirangam on 10-Sep-2017 at   9:00am. All aasthikas are invited to bless the children. The UdagaShaanthi function on 9-Sep-2017 at 4:00pm.

Let the divine couple shower their divine blessings you and all forever.
